On a lighter note than the Ergenekon investigation and headscarf legislation that has been dominating the news, a snow storm has hit Turkey. In the past six hours, I have seen more snow than I have ever seen before in my life. I am told that schools and public buildings have been shut down and just venturing to the grocery store, I saw shoveled piles of snow as high as seven feet. For a Texan, truly amazing.
