EUTCC Conference

Worth reading is journalist Wladimir van Wilgenburg's coverage of the 5th Annual Conference of the EU-Turkey Civic Commission (EUTCC), an NGO set up to address relations between Turkey, its Kurdish minority, and the EU. At the conference were recently convicted and much famed Kuridsh politician Leyla Zana, Diyarbakır Mayor Osman Baydemir, controversial Radikal columnist Cengiz Çandar, and American academic Michael Günter.
