Human Rights Watch (HRW) has released its
2011 World Report, documenting a "mixed record" of human rights in Turkey over last year. The report points to continued problems resulting from the Anti-Terrorism Law, as well as the little headway made in improving the human rights situation for Kurds despite the government's expressed intention to do so.
